St. Croix County Launches 1-STOP-DROP
Free Recycling Option
St. Croix County, WI — Recycling electronics and appliances just got easier with 1-STOP-DROP, a new, year-round, free recycling option available to all St. Croix County residents through a partnership with Redemption Recycling. The program provides a convenient, one-stop drop-off location for electronics, appliances, and other eligible materials.
If it has a cord or runs on batteries, bring it in.
What Can Be Recycled?
The 1-STOP-DROP program accepts:
- All electronics, including TVs
- All appliances, including items containing freon or refrigerants
- Rechargeable batteries
- Miscellaneous scrap metal
All collected materials will be transported to an R2v3-certified recycling facility in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, ensuring responsible and environmentally sound processing.

- Location: 707 Lehmann Way Somerset, WI
- Hours (no appointment needed):
- Monday–Thursday: 8 am – 2 pm
- Friday: 8 am – Noon
Important Reminder from Redemption Recycling — Illegal dumping is prohibited.
Video surveillance is in use, and violators will be prosecuted.
